Adieu

This will be the last post for NT2.
Several of our members, including our scribe, are about to start new
ventures. Our remaining members didn’t think they could maintain the output
of the blog at the same level. So we’ve decided to end it.
We hope you’ve enjoyed our work. We hope we’ve made a worthwhile point or
two, and encouraged dialogue.
There’s a possibility that we regroup and return in the new year under a
different banner and with a slightly different focus. We’re exploring that
now.
But regardless of what happens in the future, we want to thank our readers,
especially those of you who took the time to respond to our posts with
wisdom, humor, occasional pique, and style.

NT2: Nec Temere, Nec Timide 
Oh nay nay nay NT2 be true to the cause! What better venture, ha ~ what better venue to poke the gas bags in our beloved hallowed halls?
So much pent up potential needs a relief valve elst twill explode with the slightest spark ~ the conflagration may take Mini Me!! and tho he’s a buggar, he’s our buggar!
A respectful plea to ressurect; come again to the fray with stout heart.

You were greatly appreciated. Original thinking always deserves respect.
Sorry to see you depart. Clear cut thinking, a perspective based in reality, logic, and,
most often lacking in political pundits, no tone of superiority…all were welcome.
One hopes each of your new endeavors will be in venues which will benefit from the
mentioned talents.
Thanks for the ride and keep the mailing list in the event you can use it in the future.

NT2 has been a smart addition to my daily reading list. I hope that you good folks who have labored anonymously will consider offering your thoughtful work under your own bylines — or, more realistically for some, those of the principals you’ll serve — for some, ah, established op/ed pages and blogs. I know of a site and a newspaper in Albany that would welcome you.
Please reconsider. You provided as close to the unvarnished truth as anyone could covering Albany. And, when you didn’t know something, you said it. You’ve been a direct patch into the vagaries of Albany and its denizens. Get some backing, as Rex said. Don’t leave us floundering in dark ignorance.
